Green Bean Expansion Gets the Green Light
Town officials approved the project Tuesday.
The owners of the Green Bean on Tuesday received approval to expand their restaurant.
Owner Jeff Turner and Lori Whitney said they plan to build a new kitchen in an adjacent space where Trends Gift Gallery used to be located. Trends moved to a new space by the bandstand.
About 30 dining seats would be added where the current kitchen is located. Those seats would have views of the Squamscott River.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment approved the project Tuesday.
