High Winds Could Cause Power Outages Today
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for Exeter.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for Exeter and the rest of New Hampshire today, according to the National Weather Service.
Two episodes of strong winds are expected. The first round will hit Friday morning, with south to southwest wind gusts up to 50 mph. A second round of strong winds will hit in the afternoon as a cold front sweeps across the region. Again, gusts up to 50 mph could occur.
The winds could knock down some small tree branches, resulting in isolated power outages. Driving may also be difficult.
The Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. Friday.
