'I Can Now Help My Son with His Math'
The Exeter Adult Education program held its graduation Thursday.
More than 100 adults who never finished high school earned their GEDs or adult diplomas Thursday during the Exeter Adult Education program graduation.
Among the graduates was Brian Noyes, who earned the highest score in the state on the GED test this year. It was the second year in a row a member of the Exeter program earned the highest GED score in the state.
Another graduate was Katherine Byrne, a mother of four now in her 20s. She said she was motivated to take the adult education program after her son asked her to help him with his math homework and she couldn't.

"I can now help my son with his math," Byrne told the crowd through tears. "If I can do this, anyone can."
There were about 100 people who earned their GEDs and another 20+ who earned their diplomas.
