After overcoming our fear of heights, Exeter Patch was treated to a special tour of the highest point in Exeter – the belltower at the downtown .

Aside from the bird's-eye view of town, the coolest thing about the tower is how you access it – through a staircase that descends from a first-floor ceiling through a pulley system. Check out our photos in the image gallery above.

The founding of the church dates back more than 350 years. There's a special pew where Abraham Lincoln once sat at more than 140 years ago.
