Sugar & Ice, a new ice cream and candy shop, opened for business on Friday at 85 Water St. in downtown Exeter.

The new business is located in the former home of the Everything Sweet candy shop. It offers homemade ice cream and all sorts of candy, from licorice to gummy bears. Owner Uli Emmerling also operates Sugar & Ice on Route 125 in Barrington.
