IMPROVE YOUR COMPUTER SKILLS AT EXETER ADULT EDUCATION

Whether you need to start from square one or improve your existing skills, Exeter Adult Education can help.

For very beginners with no typing experience, a 2-week program on Email & Internet Basics begins on Thursday, September 26, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., or Daytime Email/Internet Basics class on Thursdays, beginning October 10, from 10:00am – Noon, $45.  Computer Basics & Keyboarding course is offered on Thursday evenings for 7 weeks beginning October 10 from 6- 8 p.m., $100.

Individuals with adequate typing skills and basic PC knowledge can enroll in any of the following courses:

  • Introduction to Word, 5 weeks, beginning Monday, October 7, from 6:00 – 8:30pm or
    Daytime on Thursdays, beginning October 24, 10:00am – Noon, $90.
  • Introduction to Excel, 5 weeks, beginning Tuesday, September 24, from 7-9pm, $90.
  • Intermediate Excel, 5 weeks, beginning Tuesday, October 29, from 7-9pm, $90.
  • Advanced Excel, 3 weeks, beginning Tuesday, December 3, from 7-9 pm, $75.
  • Web Site Design, 6 weeks, beginning Thursday, October, 3 from 7-8:30pm, $100.
  • Excel Basics, 4 weeks, beginning Thursday, November 19, daytime 10:00am – Noon, $85.
  • Introduction to PowerPoint, 2 weeks, beginning Monday, November 18, 6:00-8:30pm, $50.

All computer courses are taught in a Windows  environment using Microsoft Office 2010 and are designed for different levels of experience. Those who have limited or no experience with a PC and Windows should take Computer Basics prior to other courses. All other courses are for those confident with Windows and who have good keyboarding and mouse skills.

Classes meet one night per week. Pre-registration is required for all classes. Complete registration information and other course selections are in the brochure which can be found at area business, the library, online at adulted.sau16.org, or by calling the Adult Education office at 775-8457.
