The non-profit Exeter Theater Company – the group trying to revive the theater – said today it needs 1,000 donors by the end of March or the effort could be in jeopardy.
The group is running several offers to help reach that goal, including:
- An for $50
- A drawing for two free tickets to every Ioka show for a year
- Putting the name of a business that delivers 50 donors on the Ioka marquee for a week
“Mr. Lewis is prepared to make a very generous donation to our community, but before he makes that donation, he wants to be assured that the community cares," Exeter Theater Company Board Chair and Exeter resident Tony Callendrello said in a statement. "We’ve agreed with Mr. Lewis that signing up 1,000 members is a tangible way of showing the community’s support for the Ioka."
