Cabin fever setting in? Pack up the kids and head over to
the SEE Science Center (Bedford) or the New Hampshire Children’s Museum (Dover). The library has passes for both (discounted admission at
the Children’s Museum, free admission at the SEE Science Center).
Would your school-aged child like the opportunity to hear a
story? Thursdays at the Castle is just the thing. The story program,
geared for students in grades one through five, will be held Thursdays at 4 p.m.
And of course, story time for the preschool set continues on
Tuesdays at 10:30.
Children are invited to stop by for a story and craft.

Finally, if
your elementary aged-child needs a boost with reading, the library has
partnered with Seacoast Reads. UNH volunteers
work one-on-one with an elementary “reading buddy”, reading books,
playing word games, and practicing writing. Your child will be paired
with a student tutor and they will meet once a week, for a 45 minute session. Please
call the library at 659-5311 to set up. http://www.unh.edu/engagement/partnerships/pdf/seacoast-reads.pdf
