Jim Reardon, Former Exeter Council Member

Jim Reardon, an Exeter resident who served in World War II and went on to work for NASA, passed away recently.

Reardon was 83 years old, according to his obituary.

He was a member of Exeter's Council on Aging at the time of his death, according to the town.

He grew up in Dorchester, Mass. and enlisted in the Navy during World War II. After the war, he worked as a tool maker for NASA and the Department of Defense, among other organizations.

Reardon died Oct. 22. He was buried in Exeter Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Donita.
