Judge to Decide Greenland Police Shooting Lawsuit
Four police officers blame the mother of a drug dealer who shot and killed Greenland's police chief.
A lawsuit filed by four police officers wounded in a deadly drug raid in Greenland has yet to be decided by a judge.
Judge Kenneth McHugh granted an extension for the case, the Union Leader reported this week.
Drug dealer Cullen Mutrie shot and killed Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney during a botched raid in April 2012. Mutrie shot and wounded four other officers.
The officers filed a lawsuit against Mutrie's mother, Beverly, claiming she was aware of her son's criminal activity and provided a weapon used in the shootings. Beverly Mutrie's lawyer has denied those claims, according to the UL.
