Keep your mind and body healthy throughout the fall with one of our wellness courses. This semester classes, beginning soon at Exeter Adult Education include:

Introduction to Ballroom Dancing – William Vanderhoof

This beginner class requires no experience, just a willing partner! Learn the basics of foxtrot, waltz, rhumba, and swing. Class size limited to six couples. Please wear comfortable shoes-no sneakers or rubber soled shoes. $90 per couple. Continuing students should register for 7:30 pm class. Maximum 6 couples per session.
Mondays, 8 weeks, beginning September 30, 6:30-7:30 pm &  7:30-8:30pm                                       

                        
BOKWA FITNESS - Jospehine Dorja

Bokwa Fitness is a new and completely different approach to group exercise.  Participants draw letters and numbers with their feet while performing an energizing and addictive cardio workout routine.  Everyone can do Bokwa, from 4 to 99 years of age.  People with two left feet who cannot dance or world champion Latin and ballroom dancers, all have a terrific experience in the same Bokwa Fitness class. TAI CHI – Taoist Tai Chi Society

This course is an introduction to the art of Tai Chi. Suitable for all ages and types. Stay beyond this session to learn the entire set.

WELLNESS YOGA – Jeanne Goddard

Gain more energy by learning simple, easy techniques to balance breathing while gaining control over your body and maintaining complete range of movement. Stress relief and meditation included. Bring a yoga mat or towel

Tuesdays, 8 weeks, beginning October 1, $70, 6:30-8:00 pm  

Thursdays, 8 weeks, beginning October 3, $70,  6:30-8:00 pm                 

 

 

AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION FIRST AID - Mike Hall  

This course is designed for individuals with limited or no medical training. Students will be trained on basics of first aid, medical emergencies,(including choking, breathing problems, shock) injuries (bleeding, broken bones and burns) as well as environmental emergencies. Students will receive a  HeartSaver First Aid Course Completion Card within 10 days of course completion. Monday, September 30, $50, 6:00-9:00 pm

 

HEARTSAVER ADULT CPR/AED – Mike Hall 
This 2-hour interactive course covers adult/child CPR, how to use an AED, how to help choking victims, and how/when to phone 911. You will receive an American Heart Association CPR Adult Certification. Card issued within 10 days of course completion.
Monday, October 21, $50, 6:00-9:00 pm                              

                                            

BEGINNER FLY TYING with Mark Foley - This course offers instruction on how to tie flies that will catch fish in salt and fresh water.  Reviews fly tying equipment and materials options. Equipment and materials provided. Mondays, 7 weeks, beginning October 21, $100,
6:30-8:30 pm.
