Laid Off in a Down Economy, Couple Finds New Calling
A new senior service provider serves Exeter.

The following is a news release:
When 62-year-old accountant Mandy Mullen and her husband John, who worked in manufacturing, both lost their jobs due to the down economy, they worried about finding new employment so late in their lives.
Instead of looking for new jobs, the Mullens decided to team up and open an ComForcare senior service location in Dover that serves people in Strafford and Rockingham Counties -- including Exeter. ComForcare is a national home care provider for seniors.

The Mullens, who have three adopted children, gained experience in senior care when they helped their own parents remain in their homes after retirement.
“We love to help people and we love the elderly, who have given so much to society,” said Mandy, “It gives us great pleasure to be able to help people stay in their homes."
