A local lawyer is facing charges stemming from a 2012 boat crash in Kingston that resulted in the death of a Merrimack man, according to the Union Leader.
Eric Eskeland, 54, of Merrimack, was killed in the crash, which occurred just before 11:30 p.m. on May 26, 2012 on Country Pond in Kingston. Five others on Eskeland's boat were also injured. The 17-foot powerboat Eskeland was piloting crashed with a 20-foot powerboat operated by Lawrence Buswell, 52, of Kingston, who was not injured.
The Union Leader said Buswell has been charged with misdemeanor counts of vehicular assault and careless and negligent operation of boats. He's also expected to be indicted on additional felony charges for causing Eskeland's death.
