A Raymond man was sentenced to more than six years in prison for possessing child pornography.
Bruce Goldsmith, 54, was sentenced in United States District Court after pleading guilty to one count of possession of child pornography, U.S. Attorney John Kacavas announced Wednesday.
Authorities said Goldsmith used a website for posting and trading images of sexual assault victims. They said he downloaded numerous such images to his home computer.
Goldsmith was sentenced to 78 months in prison.
The charge against him resulted from an investigation by the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement Division and the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
