Local Man Captured After Five Months on the Run

Tucker Cockerline, of Kingston, went on the run after a drug conviction.

A local man who went on the run after a conviction for selling drugs was captured by police Saturday.

Tucker Cockerline, 22, of Kingston, was arrested after someone made an anonymous tip that he was staying at a family member's residence on Marshall Road in that town, authorities said. Police officers went to the home and arrested him there.

Cockerline had been wanted since February. His mughsot was publicized in local media when he was named a "Fugitive of the Week" by U.S. Marshals.

He's currently being held at the Rockingham County Jail.
