A Hampton woman died after she was hit by a truck at a mall in Newington, police said.
Ellen Busch, 75, of Hampton was hit Friday night while walking in a crosswalk at The Crossings at Fox Run, according to Newington Police Lt. Scott Qualls. She was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead Sunday.
The driver was Christopher Denen, of York, Maine, Qualls said. He was driving a Dodge pickup truck when he struck Busch near the Ulta Beauty store, Qualls said.
Denen has not been charged. Qualls said an investigation is ongoing.
