Man Arrested for Reckless Driving on Route 101 in Exeter
New Hampshire State Police allege that Stephen Brown was going 125 mph on his motorcycle.

If you were wondering what all the state troopers were doing on Route 101 this morning in Exeter, here’s the scoop: A man from Merrimack was arrested on a reckless driving charge.
Stephen G. Brown, 48, of Merrimack, was arrested around 7 a.m. on Aug. 1.
According to a press statement, at a little after 7 a.m., a state trooper was on routine patrol on Route 101 westbound in Exeter. He saw a motorcycle traveling “at a high rate of speed” and later, “determined that the speed of the motorcycle was 125 mph.” Other troopers were notified and Brown was stopped a short time later since “it was necessary for him to slow down in heavy traffic,” according to the report.

Brown was allegedly riding on a 1989 Suzuki GSX750. He’s due to appear in Brentwood District Court on Sept. 25.
New Hampshire State Police are asking anyone with information pertaining to the incident to contact Trooper First Class Gary Ingham of Troop A at 603-223-8490.
