Man Facing Negligent Homicide Trial

A Newmarket man was killed.

A man who police said was driving drunk in a that killed a Newmarket man is facing trial for negilgent homicide.

Scott Currier, 26, was recently indicted by a Rockingham County grand jury. An indictment means the jury determined evidence in the case warrants a trial.

Court documents say Currier was drunk and speeding when he lost control of his vehicle on Red Oak Hill Road in Epping. His vehicle flipped over, killing 25-year-old Joshua Pratt, of Newmarket. Four others were injured.

The crash happened in January.

Currier is being held at the Rockingham County House of Corrections.
