Man Tries to Abduct Boy in Brentwood: Cops

Police are seeking the public's help identifying a possible person of interest in a child abduction incident tonight.

BRENTWOOD, NH – Police in Brentwood are investigating a possible child abduction incident in that community earlier this evening, according to an alert.

At around 6:10 p.m. on July 12, 2016, in the area of Mary Vey Drive and Mill Road, a man in a red pickup truck, possibly a Dodge, with a white stripe down the side, reportedly attempted to abduct a 10-year-old boy.

“He unsuccessfully attempted to usher the boy into his vehicle,” according to alert on Facebook. “The male subject was described as white and balding. The vehicle had New Hampshire registration plates.”
