Mass. Teen Charged with Car Theft After Crash

Isaac Shea was arrested after an accident on Route 125 last week.

A Massachusetts teenager is expected to be arraigned in court tomorrow on numerous charges after a crash on Route 125 in Brentwood on Friday afternoon.

Isaac W. Shea, 18, of Haverhill, MA, was arrested on Nov. 6, 2015, and charged with burglary, receiving stolen property, conduct after an accident, resisting arrest or detention, and disobeying a police officer.

According to police, officers were called to a motor vehicle accident at just before 3 p.m. on Route 125 and North Road involving multiple vehicles and unknown injuries. When police arrived, they discovered that one of the operators reportedly fled the scene on foot, according to a post by the Brentwood Police on Facebook.

A New Hampshire State Police K-9 unit was called in and a search of the area conducted. The driver, later identified as Shea, was found a short time later. He was taken into custody after allegedly struggling with police.

Police later learned from Haverhill Police that the vehicle was allegedly stolen.

Shea was held on $2,000 cash bail in the Rockingham County Jail. He’s expected to be arraigned tomorrow in Brentwood District Court.
