NORTH CONWAY, NH — Meredith Village Savings Bank has donated $1,500 to the Mount Washington Valley Housing Coalition, according to a statement from the organizations.

The Mount Washington Valley Housing Coalition promotes affordable and sustainable housing throughout the Mount Washington Valley. The donation continues Meredith Village Savings Bank’s support of the coalition’s housing-related initiatives.

Brittany Hodge, a mortgage loan officer with Meredith Village Savings Bank, serves on the coalition’s board of directors.

“Access to affordable housing is essential to the health and vitality of our community,” Hodge said. “When individuals and families can live where they work, it strengthens our local economy, supports small businesses, and fosters a sense of belonging.”

Sara Butterfield, executive director of the Mount Washington Valley Housing Coalition, said the organization values the bank’s continued involvement.

“The Mount Washington Valley Housing Coalition is grateful for MVSB’s ongoing support and for Brittany’s active involvement on our board,” Butterfield said. “Community partnerships like this help us expand our reach and make meaningful progress toward increasing affordable housing opportunities across the region.”

The coalition works to raise awareness, encourage local government initiatives, and promote solutions that help residents find and maintain affordable housing in the Mount Washington Valley.
