Mirsky: Democrats Have a Clear Choice
Democratic Presidential Debate is tonight, at 8:30 p.m., on CNN.
Democrats watching tonight’s televised Democratic Presidential Debate better think carefully about the future. There is a stark choice here, between the solid, well known, historic candidacy of Hillary Rodham Clinton, and some other lesser known individuals. This debate is being carried by CNN (Cable News Network) at 8:30 p.m.
[If you want to know the details of my views on why you should consider voting for Hillary Clinton, just check out my Letters to the Editor, in the Exeter News-Letter, the Portsmouth Herald, and Foster’s Daily Democrat.]
It’s pretty clear that Hillary Clinton is part of a team that gave the United States a brilliant economic recovery in the 1990s, which was wrecked by inattention from the Bush Administration in the 2000s.
The other Democratic candidates are not offering anything on the level that has been produced by the Clintons. They are not well known individuals, and they have not offered anything specific.

We have undergone a lot of social change in America over the past 8 years, but now we need a better economy, and Hillary Clinton can provide that.
If you are from New Hampshire and plan to vote in the New Hampshire Primary early next year, you should take note of the “Trump” signs that are starting to appear around us. Democrats cannot afford to throw their support to the latest new fad in politics that will only end in political defeat.

America needs a more humane approach to government overall, where the two sides of the political aisle can meet and cooperate once in a while. Hillary Clinton can provide that. Republicans criticize Hillary Clinton because they believe she has the strongest chance to beat them in November 2016, but Republicans also respect her. They respect the fact that she is a winner. They respect the fact that Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton have always worked to advance the cause of economic growth and prosperity.
By the way, it is also long past the time when the United States was governed by a woman in the leadership role. Hillary Clinton is ready to handle that role.
Democrats, at least, should realize this and give her the chance.
