Mirsky: It's Time for Women to Rise Up
The glass ceiling above Hillary Clinton is real.

The biggest secret in American politics is that the most oppressed group in America is actually comprised of people who are in the majority: Women.
You are seeing it play out right now, as all the TV coverage on news broadcasts on stations like CNN and FOXNews, ABC, NBC, and CBS, and even PBS, is devoted to the antics of a silly man: the Reality Show “star”, Republican candidate for President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Here we have a candidate who is openly destroying his own chances to be elected or to govern, by constantly repeating insulting and nasty and prejudiced things, and he is treated by the news media as an actual candidate for President.
While on the other hand, there is former Secretary of State, former U.S. Senator from New York, former two-term First Lady in the Administration of one of the most effective Presidents we have ever had, Bill Clinton, and Hillary Clinton is only getting the continuous negative rants about “likeability”, and questions about whether you can trust someone who has actually governed and been successful in U.S. Politics.

I met Hillary Clinton briefly in my small town of Exeter, New Hampshire back in May. It was an impressive event, a serious meeting at a book store in town, in which the candidate made a point of meeting and speaking individually with every person present.
Hillary Clinton talked about how important it is in raising a child that the child has a parent who will speak to the child, as many words as possible, to build vocabulary and intelligence. Hillary Clinton talked about how our criminal justice system and our health care system are letting us down because a key problem in both areas is the lack of adequate and available mental health care for those who need it.

These are not the types of issues you are hearing about from Donald Trump. Nor will you hear about how to best improve the lives and self-images of the young women of America by listening to the male Democratic candidates for President, who are clearly not committed to improving the lives of women in America as opponents of the strongest woman candidate for President in United States History.
It is time for that most oppressed group in American politics to rise up.
