New Flatbread Pizza Joint Opening Nearby

The Flatbread Pizza Company will soon open a new location in Hampton.

The restaurant, which operates several locations in New England, will open at 61 High St. It will replace a Me and Ollie's that closed earlier this year. Flatbread hopes to open the location by the end of the month.

Co-owner John Meehan said the roughly 35 employees at the new Hampton location will soon begin training.

"We're looking forward to opening," said Meehan. "There’s a lot of enthusiasm. (Locals and employees) are all excited about us opening, and I couldn’t be more excited."

The Hampton Flatbread will have a new character-rich, wooden facade thanks to the installation of reclaimed 300-year-old mushroom board on the exterior of the building.

Flatbread also has a location in Portsmouth.
