The popular cafe, which opened in Exeter in 1997 and now has several locations across the Seacoast, is opening its newest spot in New Castle this week. It will be on the deck at the Wentworth by the Sea marina.
In addition to the Green Bean's signature sandwiches and soups, beer and wine will be served at the New Castle location. And those with a boat can dock for free at the marina when they visit the cafe.

The cafe is scheduled to open Friday. Owners Lori Whitney and Jeff Turner will announce more details on the business's Facebook page.
They plan to have the New Castle location open from Memorial Day to Labor Day every year.

Whitney and Turner are also completing a new wood patio in the courtyard of their Exeter location. The patio will take up about a third of the existing courtyard and help protect trees that give shade for customers eating outdoors. The exisiting white picket fence will be kept.
The Green Bean also has a location at the Pease Tradeport .
