New Hannaford Location Opens Next Week
The Exeter supermarket is scheduled to open on Saturday, March 8 at 7 a.m.
The new Hannaford store on Portsmouth Avenue in Exeter is scheduled to open next week.
A sign in front of the 141 Portsmouth Ave. location says the supermarket will open on Saturday, March 8 at 7 a.m. Hannaford signs are up on the building itself and at the entrance, and the parking lot is full of workers' vehicles. Construction continues on a portion of the site.
Hannaford announced in December that it had taken over the space formerly occupied by Stop & Shop, which closed last August. The new store will employ about 150 people.
