“Everyone who came in kept asking for a Porter so we got to work on the recipe,” said Michael Potorti, the founder of Beara and a brewere. “What better addition than locally roasted and brewed coffee from D Squared Java. They cold brewed the equivalent of fivegallons of coffee for us and we infused into our Porter. It came out REALLY good and we are looking forward to sharing it with everyone in early January.”
A kickoff release party will be held in the Beara Irish Brewing Co. taproom at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, with live music and food. Java Porter Ale will be available in pints, 22 oz. bottles, and growlers through the taproom only.
