Below is Segal's bio from the school district website:
In March 2008, Kate Segal was elected as the Exeter representative to the ERCSD Board. Following in the footsteps of both her father and grandfather who were teachers, coaches and school board members, Kate left her previous career as a guidance counselor at Ellis School in Fremont to become principal of Hilltop Elementary School in Somersworth for the 2009-2010 school year. Kate’s grandfather was also a principal and it is her hope that she can live up to both her father and grandfather’s legacy as she continues her educational career path.
