New Members and Products at the Exeter Farmers' Market!
Plan your garden, eat nutritious food and shop like a local at the Exeter Farmers' Market! Your friends are waiting to meet you!

A community commitment for a healthy and supported seacoast is what the Seacoast Growers Association's farmers' markets strive for, year after year and thus reaching their 40th! Originally starting on a Portsmouth street corner, several men and women harvested their farm's produce and headed out to what would become New Hampshire's oldest farmers' market. Today, local vendors from within Rockingham, Strafford NH & York county ME enrich the market experience, with sustainable sourcing on the forefront while growing their businesses and strengthening our region.
To kick off its 40th season, a welcoming of new members and guests plan to participate in this year's Portsmouth, Exeter, Dover and Durham Farmers' Market. The classic steak and eggs, salad and dessert will forever permeate in a SGA market, but to embellish this year's alfresco shopping experience will include fresh caught seafood, more cheese, handcrafted kitchen ware, earthy accessories and new community farmers. The in person contact with someone who grew, raised or crafted your purchase is an uncommonly found assurance.
Proud patrons and members continuing a mission to strengthen themselves as well as their community will continue on schedule as the Exeter market opens May 4th 2:15-6 pm, Portsmouth to follow Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm and Durham and Dover trailing behind for the first week of June. As Margaret Atwood once said, In the spring, at the end of the day you should smell like dirt, and that is what you can picture going on behind the scenes as our local farmers are hard at work.
