New Sub Shop Coming to Exeter

It will replace the former Gandolfo's NY Delicatessen.

A new sub shop is coming to Exeter.

Nadeau's, which operates five locations across the state, will open its sixth at the former Gandolfo's NY Delicatessen on Portsmouth Avenue in Exeter.

Gandolfo's closed in March after the owners said "the economy (got) the best of us."

Nadeau's serves Philly cheese steaks, Black Angus hambugers, and salads, among other items, according to its website.

It will open its Exeter location in mid-summer, according to a sign put up there. Owner Jeremy Nadeau could not be reached Monday.

The new eatery is located at 48 Portsmouth Ave. next to Walgreens. The adjoining storefront, previously occupied by Wicked Fun Art, is currently vacant.

Nadeau's has four locations across Manchester and one in Concord.
