New Twist to American Independence Festival This Year

The 22nd annual American Independence Festival will have a new twist this year – a beer pavilion.

The event will be held in downtown Exeter on July 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a barbeque, live music, and a fireworks display at night.

A battle portrayal starts at 2 p.m. on . Historical reenactors portraying people like George Washington and John Adams will be there.

Admission for the festival is $7. Children under 10 years of age and museum members get in free.
