STRATHAM.......Monday, November 11th, 2019, The Stratham Historical Society and The Wiggin Memorial Library will present "A Newburyport Marine in WWI: The Life and Legacy of Eden Bradbury, a USMC enlistee (days after declaration of war in April 1917). The presenter will be Bethany Groff Dorau, the author who will speak on her research which included letters, diaries, photos and military records for Eden Bradbury. Ms. Dorau has also authored, A Brief History of Old Newbury and writes for the Defining Documents in American History series. She is the North Shore Regional Site Manager for Historic New England, has published articles for the New England Quarterly and holds an MA in History from UMass.

The program kicks off at 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 11th and is FREE to the public. Location: Morgera Community Room, Stratham Fire Department, corner of 4 Winnicutt Road and Portsmouth Avenue, Stratham, NH. There is ample parking and refreshments will be served. Plan on joining us.
