Newmarket Boys Basketball Wins PCA Summer League Championship
The Mules defeated Concord Christian Academy in the finals on Wednesday night

The Newmarket High School boys basketball team won the Portsmouth Christian Academy summer league championship on Wednesday night, defeating 2021-2022 D4 runner-ups Concord Christian Academy in the final.
Newmarket beat Somersworth in the first round on Monday night and Farmington in the semifinals earlier Wednesday to move on to the championship game.
The win caps off a successful summer for the Mules, who finished 4-2 in the Great Bay Community College summer league and made it to the semifinals of last weekend's 11th annual Battle of the Crossroads in Epping, with wins over defending D4 champions Woodsville, as well as Farmington and Kearsarge.
