Newmarket Petition Likely to Fall on Deaf Ears

Dr. Givens and School Board Members Must Resign

A Newmarket student-led petition to the NH Dept. of Education (DOE) officials concerning the unresponsiveness of the Newmarket School Board to the communities petition to remove Dr. Susan Given’s as Supt, will most likely fall upon deaf ears. This is true because of the state’s wrongheaded position that school boards’ are not within the purview of the DOE.

Prior to Givens taking over in Newmarket, I cautioned her multiple times about accepting the position. I did this because of the ongoing legal woes of the school board, their attorney, and other school district officials. Essentially, I informed Givens of the illegal and unethical actions of the people she would be working with. Givens ignored my admonitions and soon proved to me that she was just as bad as those I had cautioned her about.

Today, Newmarket taxpayers are funding the unethical and illegal actions of the school board and other officials, including those of Givens, through legal fees and court costs. In addition, the school district (taxpayers) owe thousands in attorney fees in a previous case where the school district committed perjury, falsification, and obstruction.

My point this morning is simple: Neither Givens nor any member of the school board was in any moral position to pass judgment upon any actions of Chris Mazzone. This is true because of thier hands being quite dirty themselves.

In addition to my current case against the district which is now at the NH Supreme Court, I will soon be filing a new lawsuit against the district for defamation, legal malpractice, and other harmful actions. Lies and corruption only lead to more lies and further corruption. People need to be accountable. I hope many of those I mentioned above will face jail time for their actions.
