Newmarket School Board Chair Wrong for Newmarket!

Perjury, fraud, and theft is no way to run a school district; yet, this is exactly how the Newmarket NH School District is run. Leading this corrupt group of unethical and immoral so-called educational leaders is School Board Chairman Mike Kenison.

Chairman Kenison has shown he has no moral compass and is fearless when it comes to falsifying public documents. Kenison signed not one but two different contracts for former NMJSHS principal Chris Mazzone to work as Newmarket's facilities director after Mazzone was removed by Susan Givens in November 2019 from his principalship.

Kenison knew Mazzone was not eligible for the new position and that neither the school board nor the town council approved any such contract, yet, Kenison went ahead and signed the fraudulent contract anyway.

Mike Kenison has failed to uphold his oath of office and that of an attorney in other ways as well. Kenison is fully aware of the perjury committed by school district officials in several Right-to-Know cases, yet, he has said nothing, allowing these lies to reach all the way to the NH Supreme Court. This is not leadership...this This is unethical, immoral, and illegal behavior.

Kenison is also fully aware that school district attorney Barbara Loughman is raking in many many tens of thousands of Newmarket taxpayer dollars defending school district lies. This is not leadership! This is corruption!

Mr. Kenison, above all else, is also a coward! He is fully aware of his failings and culpability in the matters described above, yet he refuses to step down from the school board. He is a coward! Newmarket has only ever asked that it’s public officials conduct themselves with honesty and integrity; what Kenison gave them are fraud and corruption. Step down, Mr. Kenison! Newmarket deserves better! You have done more than enough harm!
