Newmarket School District Attorney Barbara Loughman is a liar!
Taxpayers should never have to pay for the unethical, immoral, and criminal acts of attorneys who represent public entities.
New Hampshire Attorney Barbara Loughman has repeatedly lied in New Hampshire Courts, and in Court documents over these past several years to protect her client from violations of RSA 91-A and to acquire money in the form of attorney fees. This is fraud and corruption at its worst.
In response to Loughman's repeated unethical, immoral, and criminal acts, I have filed numerous ethics complaints (9) with the New Hampshire Attorney Discipline Office (ADO) claiming she has violated nearly every rule of the Attorney Code of Conduct. To the detriment of the attorney profession, the ADO has refused to conduct an investigation into any of my allegations.
According to Attorney Dennis Beaver, Lawyers who lie do not end well. They get in trouble with the State Bar, often losing their license, frequently winding up bankrupt, family life in shambles, and sometimes going to jail," she observes. "And often, they send their clients into a living nightmare."
Today, the Newmarket School District is living the nightmare. Criminal allegations have been filed against school district officials (past and present) with the NH Attorney General's office alleging perjury, fraud, obstruction of justice, false swearing, and other crimes.
Likewise, allegations have been filed with the NH Dept. of Education against School Superintendents Merideth Nadeau and Susan Givens alleging violations of the NH Educator Code of Conduct (ethics violations).
Attorney Loughman will, I am convinced, eventually be held accountable for the unethical, immoral, and illegal actions she knowingly engaged in on behalf of her client. Until this happens, the attorney profession will continue to be disgraced by her actions and the ADO’s refusal to investigate her criminal, immoral, and unethical acts.
Perhaps the most repugnant aspect of all of the lies and other crimes engaged in by the school district and attorney Loughman is the fact that Newmarket taxpayers have been paying attorney Loughman throughout all of the many lawsuits which have taken place where the lies have been spread.
