Newmarket School District Continues to Violate NH Laws and Rules!

The Newmarket School Board does not want the good people of Newmarket, or anyone else, to learn about lawsuits filed against the School Board or School District. To this end, the School Board routinely violates our state’s public Right-to-Know Law (RSA 91-A, and also tampers with public documents, a crime under RSA 641:7.

Besides the School Board, two others share in the responsibility for these violations of laws, rules, and the public trust: School District Attorney Barbara Loughman and School Superintendent Susan Givens. These two women are neck-deep in the lies and violation of our laws and rules which, continue to cost the Newmarket taxpayer immense amounts of money.

Attorney Loughman, in my opinion, is the worst of all. She has repeatedly lied to the Rockingham Superior and New Hampshire Supreme Courts on behalf of the Newmarket School District, thus enabling the fraud and lies by the school district to continue, at enormous taxpayer expense.

I have repeatedly informed the New Hampshire Attorney Discipline Office, Rockingham Superior Court, Rockingham County Prosecutor’s Office, and New Hampshire Supreme Court of Attorney Loughman’s illegal and unethical actions. Yet, Attorney Loughman continues to rake in many tens of thousands of Newmarket taxpayer dollars based upon fraud, lies, and deceit.

Newmarket residents should not overlook the fact that the chairman of the school board, Mike Kenison, is an attorney licensed to practice in New Hampshire. As such, Mr. Kenison swore an oath to be honest in all of his activities. Additionally, Kenison certainly is aware of the laws being broken by the board and has failed to remediate these violations.

There is one last entity to blame for all of the school district woes and legal troubles: The entire Newmarket Community. Newmarket residents have remained silent of these past few years as legal battles waged in our Courts, and evidence of fraud and corruption committed by school district officials cane to light. Is it any wonder why so many teachers and administrators leave Newmarket every year?
