Newmarket School District Employees be aware!

You have a right to know that serious criminal allegations and allegations of violations of the New Hampshire educator Code of Conduct have been filed against Superintendent Susan Givens, as well as current and past members of the Newmarket School Board, and certain educators in the school district.

These criminal allegations have included perjury, fraud, obstruction of justice, false swearing, and falsification of public documents, and extortion. The Code of Ethics allegations have included failure to report crimes committed by school district employees and school district officials and dis-honesty.

The criminal allegations have been reported to Newmarket Police officials, the Rockingham County Prosecutors office, the Strafford County Prosecutors office, the Sullivan County Prosecutors office, and the NH Attorney Generals’ office.

Violations of the NH Code of Ethics by Newmarket employees, past and present, have been filed with the New Hampshire NH Department of Education, the Governor’s office, and Susan Givens.

I also have great concerns regarding Sean Pine, Wendy Monroe, Abby Hatfield, and Anna Davenport’s ability to work in public education. When given the opportunity to come forward and report crimes and unethical actions engaged by district employees and officials, these educators remained silent.

Givens, Nadeau, and every member of the school board have all repeatedly informed our state courts, at great expense to the state and Newmarket taxpayer, that the 2015 superintendent screening committee the above-named educators severed on, voted to seal the nonpublic meeting minutes of their meetings. This was and is a lie. In fact, there were no minutes kept at all.

Newmarket Town manager, Steve Fournier, and Chairman of that committee, Al Zink, are on the record in Court documents stating the committee did not seal any minutes. Yet, these educators refused to come forward and report these lies to the state as required by the State Educator Code of Conduct. This refusal to do the right thing violates the Educator Code of conduct.

Susan Givens, Merideth Nadeau, and every member of the Newmarket School Board know there are no sealed meeting minutes, yet, they continue to lie. And in doing so, have shown no concern for Sean Pine, Anna Davenport, Wendy Monroe, or Abby Hatfield’s reputations.

The Newmarket School District is NOT a good place for any public school educator to practice the art and science of pedagogy. I strongly urge each of you to seek new employment as soon as possible.

The School Board and Superintendent Givens have all disqualified themselves from public service and must be removed. You all deserve to work for honest and ethical leaders. The same is true regarding the students and community.

Today, more than a hundred thousand dollars have been wasted in unnecessary legal fees by Givens and the board in defending their lies to the Courts and Newmarket Community. These people belong in prison, not leading a school district.
