Newmarket School District Goes Dark

Newmarket Superintendent of Schools, Susan Givens, denies my request to inspect all of the records of the recent search for a new principal to replace Chris Mazzone at NMJSHS.

In denying my request, Givens claims all of the resumes, notes of the search committee, everything, is off-limits to public inspection. So much for transparency in Newmarket.

Of course, I will not let this blatant violation of my right to inspect public records stand...It’s back to court for Newmarket, at taxpayer expense. Attorney Loughman must love Givens. She is money in the bank for Loughman.
