Newmarket School District Hides Votes

Avoiding Prison Time Possible Motive to Keep Records Sealed?

Show me the votes!

The Newmarket School District has repeatedly informed our Courts that the 2015 Superintendent Screening Committee sealed the nonpublic meeting minutes of there meetings. I have repeatedly informed the Courts the Screening Committee did not seal these nonpublic meeting minutes.

Both Steve Fournier and Al Zink have both confirmed the minutes were not sealed. However, all of the other members of the screening committee have remained silent. Their continued silence has contributed to Newmarket’s horrible reputation and costs.

Today I requested the school district unseal those alleged sealed meeting minutes.
I want to see the votes of Kim Shelton, Sean Pine, Pat Ballantyne, Anna Davenport, Nancy Pagnotta, Abby Hatfield, Julia Leary, Meg Louney-Moore, Tom Jennings, Wendy Monroe, and Greg Thayer sealing the minutes.

It’s been five years since these records were allegedly sealed. It could hardly be claimed there is any harm in releasing them. But of course, my request will not be granted, at least not by the school district. First, you cannot unseal something that does not exist. More importantly, revealing these minutes do not exist could land school district Attorney Barabra Loughman and others in prison for lying to the courts.
