Newmarket School District Violates Right to Know

Former Newmarket Superintendent of Schools Redacts 13K documents in order to cover-up other violations

Merideth Nadeau is the new Superintendent of Schools for SAU 13, which covers Freedom, Tamworth, and Madison School District’s. I find this fact quite disturbing. School Districts deserve educational leaders who believe in and exhibit the qualities of honesty, integrity, and lawfulness. I do not believe Nadeau believes in or exhibits these qualities.

In what I believe to be the single biggest violation of NH’s Right to Know Law in the state's history, the now-former superintendent of schools for the Newmarket School District, Meridith Nadeau, responded to a Right-to-Know request from me to inspect certain public documents by providing me with approximately thirteen thousand totally blacked-out redacted documents.
If you are thinking this response by Newmarket to my request is a massive cover-up, you'd be correct. Nadeau, I believe, redacted the 13K documents in order to cover-up evidence which would prove the School District repeatedly lied to both the Rockingham Superior and NH Supreme Courts regarding other allegations of Right-to-Know violations.

The truth of all of this, I hope, will soon be available for all to see. Lies always have a way of coming around to bite the liar. This is true because in order to get away with the lies told, most often the liars must continue to lie. This is what has been going on in this case. I fully expect Nadeau and others will soon be facing the consequences of their lies. When this happens, these liars will have no one to blame but themselves.
