Newmarket School Supt. Susan Given's Under Investigation

Serious felony-level criminal allegations have been filed against the Newmarket superintendent of schools, Susan Givens. While these criminal allegations are being investigated, Givens should be placed on administrative leave.

The decision of whether or not to place Givens on administrative leave must come from the State Board of Education. This is true because criminal allegations have also been filed against the Newmarket School Board.
