Newmarket Taxpayers...wake up! I just received the legal invoices for the Newmarket School District for the month of June 2020. Holy crap! Newmarket School Districts Attorney Barbara Loughman's invoice is for more than twenty-nine thousand dollars! There are other invoices from another law firm as well, adding approximately another three thousand dollars to the total! School Superintendent Susan Givens, School Board Chairman Mike Kenison, and the rest of the bums on the School Board are spending a fortune of your tax dollars on legal fees defending their lies to the Courts, and on who knows what else. When will Newmarket taxpayers ever stand up and say enough is enough and through these incompetent lying bums out of office and employment!

Ever thought about trying stand-up comedy? Now’s your chance to stop thinking about it and get onstage!
Join professional comedian and Boston Comedy Festival founder Jim McCue for a six-week, hands-on stand-up comedy experience at McCue’s Comedy Club in Portsmouth, NH.
Whether you’ve always wanted to try comedy, want to become more comfortable speaking in front of people, or already have some material you’d like to improve, this class is designed to help you find your funny and develop your own comedic voice.
From the very first class, students will get onstage. Over five weeks, we’ll work on finding material, writing and rewriting jokes, setups and punchlines, timing, delivery, stage presence, building a set, and connecting with an audience. We’ll also touch on audience interaction, thinking on your feet, and what to do when things don’t go exactly as planned.
And then we put it all to the test.

• Finding comedy in your own life and experiences • Turning ideas and stories into jokes • Setups, punchlines, tags and callbacks • Developing and strengthening material • Timing, delivery and stage presence • Building a polished 3–5 minute stand-up set • Connecting with an audience • Developing confidence onstage • Learning how comedians test, edit and improve material
