Newmarket School District Clerk and Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools, Penney Botterman, has apparently resigned. This is apparent because the school district is advertising for the position.
While I commend Penney for resigning (something she should have done long ago), she should not have been allowed to resign: she should have been fired.
Penney remained silent while the school district was being sued in Rockingham Superior and the NH Supreme Courts, lawsuits which cost the Newmarket taxpayers many thousands of dollars and a bad reputation.

Botterman knew the school district was perpetrating a fraud upon the courts by committing perjury and yet she said nothing. In remaining silent, Botterman violated her oath of office and condoned the lies to the court.
It would, however, be difficult for Newmarket to fire Botterman. This is true because Givens, Nadeau, Loughman, Kenison, McKinney, and Shelton all were aware at the time that Newmarket was lying to the Courts and they all remained silent.

The Newmarket School District leadership is a den of unethical, lying, corrupt degenerates, and until the voters of Newmarket remove these so-called leaders from office, the lies and fraud will undoubtedly continue.
