NH Man Tased, Arrested Twice Within Three Hours: Cops

Kori Schlieder, formerly of Newmarket, was arrested for vandalism, an Exeter warrant after an alleged drunken fit. Then, was arrested again.

HOOKSETT, NH — A New Hampshire was arrested twice within the span of a few hours after allegedly destroying items in his apartment and then, after returning to his apartment and reportedly yelling and screaming, according to police. Kori Schlieder, 41, of Mammoth Road in Hooksett, was arrested on Jan. 10, 2017, for criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and a warrant. He was then arrested again three counts of resisting arrest and breach of bail.

According to a police post on Facebook, officers were sent to Mammoth Road at just before 4 a.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance involving Schlieder who was allegedly “intoxicated and destroying items in the apartment.” Police investigated the claim and determined that he would be charged with a domestic vandalism charge but when they went to arrest him, Schlieder allegedly began to resist.

Schlieder was Tased and then, taken into custody. The bench warrant, according to police, was a failure to appear warrant out of Exeter District Court.

Back in March 2016, according to Exeter Police, Schlieder, who lived in Newmarket at the time, was arrested, with the help of a Kensington officer, for unregistered vehicle, misuse or failure to display plates, and possession of controlled/narcotic drugs.

Schlieder was processed and release on personal recognizance bail.

About three hours later, officers were called back to Mammoth Road for a report that Schlieder was “outside the door, yelling into the apartment,” according to the report. His bail conditions, however, required him to remain 300 feet from the plaintiff in the case.

Schlieder was found and they attempted to take him into custody again but he allegedly resisting. He was brought under control and taken to the Hooksett Police Department headquarters.

Schlieder was charged and due to his alleged combativeness, was held and arraigned this afternoon.

Schlieder is no stranger to police, according to reports online. He was arrested in June in Deerfield for driving a vehicle with a suspended license, disobeying a police officer, possession of controlled drugs, and a warrant out of Manchester. Schlieder was also arrested by NHSP in February 2013 in Epping for an outstanding warrant for conduct after an accident. In March 2013, he was arrested in Newmarket on a warrant.
