Update: Elderly NH Man Located; Silver Alert Canceled
State police: George Blodgett of Exeter, who was reported missing, on Tuesday, has been located, safe and sound.

Update: 1:01 p.m. on June 29: George Blodgett was located safe and sound on Wednesday, according to New Hampshire State Police. The silver alert has been canceled.

EXETER, NH — Police in Exeter and New Hampshire State Police troopers are asking for the public’s help finding a missing elderly adult last heard from on Tuesday night.

George Blodgett, 81, of Exeter is 6 feet tall, around 230 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a brown-checkered shirt and tan pants. Blodgett, his wife said, suffers from dementia.
Blodgett was communicated with last around 5 p.m. after he spoke to his wife and told her he was driving to Beverly, MA, according to investigators. Four hours later, after not returning home and no one seeing or hearing from him, she called police in Exeter to report him missing.

Blodgett was driving a black 2011 Chevrolet Equinox with a NH registration 4674562.
State police issued a missing vulnerable adult alert-silver alert system on Wednesday asking for help finding Blodgett.
