'No Political T-Shirt' Request Leads To Topless Voting In Exeter

Report: After being told by an official she could not wear political info inside a polling location, a voter removed her shirt and voted.

EXETER, NH — Poll workers in Exeter will probably never ever forget the New Hampshire 2020 state primary election in town — not due to the high turnout or the new coronavirus pandemic preparations, but due to a topless voter.

According to a report in the New Hampshire Union Leader, a voter from town tried to cast a ballot while wearing a pro-John McCain/anti-Donald Trump T-shirt but was told by officials she could not wear anything political inside the polling place, the Talbot Gym at Seacoast School of Technology. The notice prompted the voter to become upset but, later, she removed her T-shirt — and cast a ballot while partially naked.

Due to COVID-19 protections, specifically, the removal of curtains, poll workers got an eyeful for about half a minute.
