Numerous Businesses Donate $10K Each to Southern District YMCA
Community Investors League formed; Exeter area Y gets help from a number of local businesses.

The decision to support a cause is a very personal one. Donors examine a non-profit’s financial performance, fiscal transparency, community impact and leadership accountability. With an 89-year history of delivering programs that promote healthy mind, body and spirit, Southern District YMCA passes the scrutiny of hundreds of donors, including many who own local businesses.
To showcase these businesses and their support for community health and well-being, the Exeter Area YMCA has formed the Community Investors League, according to a press statement. The Community Investors League includes local businesses that make a financial commitment of $10,000 or more to help construct the Exeter Area YMCA. Any League donation amount may be payable over five years.
Businesses that make commitments before July 1, 2015 will be recognized in the league’s Founders’ Circle. All members of the Community Investors League will be listed individually on a permanent recognition display in The Provident Bank Lobby.
