A grand opening will be held tonight.

The following is a news release:

The Obama campaign is holding a grand opening of the Exeter OFA-NH Office on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 5:30 pm.

With Mitt Romney planning to campaign just minutes away in Stratham on Friday, the Obama campaign has been running a grassroots neighbor-to-neighbor campaign, sharing President Obama’s vision for an economy built to last, and now will be opening its eighth campaign office on Thursday night in Exeter.

“Our campaign continues to focus on talking to voters one by one about the clear choice in this election between President Obama’s vision to create jobs, reclaim security for the middle class and restore the basic values that make our country great, and Mitt Romney, who wants to continue tax giveaways to millionaires and billionaires and return to the failed policies of the past, including letting Wall Street write its own rules,” said Holly Shulman, communications director for the Obama campaign in New Hampshire. “From Pittsburg to Pelham and Hanover to Hampton, volunteers are talking to their neighbors about President Obama’s vision for an economy built to last, because they know how much is at stake.”

Nearly nine months ago, President Obama gave a speech before Congress where he laid out the American Jobs Act, with ideas to cut taxes to help small businesses hire and grow, rebuild American infrastructure, create pathways back to work for Americans looking for jobs, and cut taxes for every American worker and their families – all paid for within the President’s long-term deficit reduction plan. The plan would create 1.9 million jobs, according to an independent economist. Mitt Romney and congressional Republicans refuse to put partisanship aside and support the American Jobs Act to help get more Americans back to work.
