On the Vine to Continue Meat Department

will continue to sell butcher meats after The Meat House announced plans to close its counter there.

The Meat House a standalone store in Stratham sometime near the end of this month.

On the Vine will incorporate the meat department under its own name and continue to sell meats like angus beef, stuffed pork chops, and chicken tenders, among other items, according to its Facebook page.

"(We will) provide our community the same or higher quality product for the most reasonable prices," it posted on Facebook.

The Meat House's new Stratham store will be located at 28 Portsmouth Avenue at the site of an old Blockbuster location.
